Buyer and founder questions
What is Airsup?
Airsup connects founders and buyers with manufacturers in key markets like the US, China, and Europe. It is optimized for the customer side, unlike Alibaba which is built for suppliers.
How is this different from Alibaba?
Alibaba relies on self-service search, which makes quality hard to predict. On Airsup, you describe your project and we find and contact the best matching suppliers for you directly.
Does Airsup handle the transaction?
No. Airsup is a matching platform. Once you are connected with a supplier, all negotiation, ordering, and payment is handled directly between you and the factory.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Just message Supi on WhatsApp and you will receive a link to manage your subscription, or message our customer support on WhatsApp.
Factory and supplier questions
Is it free to join as a supplier?
Yes, completely free. No entry fees, no commissions, and no hidden charges. If that ever changes, you will be notified in advance and have the right to leave before any costs apply.
How do I receive customer inquiries?
When a customer project matches your profile, Supi will message you directly on WhatsApp. You can then accept or decline the inquiry. When you accept, we hand over your contact details to the customer directly via WhatsApp.
What do I need to provide to get started?
Just basic company info: production capacity, budget range, minimum order quantity, and a contact person. No product photos or price lists required upfront; it is all handled during onboarding.
Who handles payments and disputes?
All payment terms, transactions, and dispute resolution are agreed directly between you and the customer. Airsup does not process payments or take responsibility for financial disputes.
Does Airsup allocate inquiries by category or region?
Currently, matching is based on what works best for both sides. The exact method may evolve over time to whatever produces the fastest, most accurate matches.
